Is there a way to teach my Bengal Cat to stop jumping on the counter, laughing at my other cat, etc?
I had my beautiful Bengal kitten about 4 months and it is hard to make behave. I’m out of ideas. I tried the jets with a water bottle when you are misbehaving. Loves water, so it is more a “game time” for him. I have tried to coin an idea can, and that just does not work. I have also tried to pick and placed on the floor saying “NO” very firmly. Nothing just seems to be working. I know that he is still a kitten and it’s funny, but I do not feel safe with he’s always in the kitchen counters and making fun of my other big cat. What else I can do to help train him? Any suggestions?
Ahh just my area of expertise! First, the water screaming and grabs his neck do not serve a flare, however, any other cat. To train a ’savage nature ‘cat, you need consistency w / words and actions. I have 4 cats indoor and outdoor savage I, I have trained. They do not jump on counters, or fight each other. Accountants-get a spray can full of air (or would use a computers and so u can find in the aisles of computer) Not only the sound of them, but the fact that there is something that blows them just get your nerves. Aerosol cans are harmless, so if u get spray in the face by accident, theres no harm. Choose a word or phrase to use when using the only possibility. I used ‘off’. Spray the cat with the air and say get off strong and firm. Continue spraying until is low. Do not remove yourself. Stick with a single word. It will take time, but it will work. Today, if my cats arent attempt something that can only view of The tin, or me to come or are just encouraging words down enough. As the fight goes, when it happens just take the cat began, and squeezed her curls, they will fight and complain about it, but I do not let go. I hold for about 5 minutes. It is a cat back yet, and now he looks when he feels and if I’m Fiesty sight, LOL not dare. I have to run to dinner, if you have any other questions feel free to contact me. Nannographical@aol.com
