My cat is very distinctive colors / brands … How I can know what breed?
I got two kittens that were abandoned in a cooperative in Ontario. One of the two kittens, Panama, I like Bengal Silver intentified think (it has the hallmarks of one of the photos I’ve seen). The second cat, ginger, is covered by black, Tan / brown and some white (in the chest, a little belly and legs). The tan / brown and black seem to have a pattern established in your body, but at the same time they have a pattern, if that makes sense. His face is literally half black on one side and tan / brown in the other. She reminds me a calico but she does not look like one. How I can know what race is or if it’s just a mixed breed. As I said I know the other cat I have is a Silver Bengal more or so pictures I have shown, I would identify my kittens breed if possible. I’ve seen pictures of the race tortiseshell and although the colors are striking … the model is not the face.
She is definitely a kind of calico or tortoise shell (where the two are interchangeable, with occasional hawksbill being gray instead of black, white and less of them that calicos) / His face reminds me of my cat I had when I was little. You have a rare beauty there! The great thing about calicos and tortoise shells is that each of them is a little different.
