Is there any specific health problems with Bengal Cats to treat bowel dysfunction?

I have a Bengal Cat that does not seem to be able to have a good bowel movement. Veterinarians can not find a physical reason for this and if there is nothing to be discovered soon there is not much hope for the poor cat. Any clarification on this would be great. He is on stool softeners that are working and eating and drinking well and has no obstructions and no mega colon.

Look if you do not already have a specialist like a small animal internal medicine or get a second opinion, breed is nothing specific that comes to mind: have you tried a diet rich in fiber and, obviously, lactose (stool softener) and even give canned pumpkin twice a day. I’m surprised that this is not Mega colon because this is very common in cats I know. The only other complaint that comes to mind is something neurological malfunctions, possibly tumor / brain damage? I hope not, but once again find a second opinion.
