Help me name my male Bengal Cat and what is the origin of this breed?
I am adopting an 8 month old male Bengal cat and I looked on the internet for unique names … No luck … I would like to have a meaning behind it and I love Gaelic Irish names, but do not have to be Irish (Could be Russian, French, Italian … whatever). If you have any unique names with meaning and origin (Irish, Russia … etc) the name ….. PLEASE HELP! Give me some ideas! Please look at the two photos of my kitty to get an idea if you want! The Bengal is a relatively new hybrid breed of cat developed to have a gentle and friendly temperament, while exhibiting the markings and body structure reminiscent of the wild Asian Leopard Cat (Prionailurus bengalensis). In other words, a Bengal Cat has a desirable wild appearance with a gentle domestic cat temperament.
