Bengal Cats> good pets? How much is sold in Canada?

Hello! I am looking to adopt a new kitten and am very interested in the race bengal. I’m wondering what the temperament, size, health problems, and how much if purchased from a breeder in Canada?

Bengals are loving, energetic and intelligent. They bond closely with their owners and this can be a problem for any other cats you have! If you are outside house much, then maybe consider another race, as Bengals need company – yours! They are medium to large enterprises cats – males larger than females, generally well muscled and lean. My male is heavier than a generation of my wife, with huge shoulders and a leopard-like position. There are many breeders in Canada – I’m New Zealand, and many of our producers to import from there. A good place to start is the TICA website (see references below). Cost for Bengal Kittens is usually $ 800 – $ 1000. You can possibly get young adults ex-breeders for considerably less (about $ 200) worth considering. Health wise, they are very robust, but prone to IBS (irratible bowel syndrome), which manifests as nasal poos. Good quality dry food (not wheat high too) is essential. I recommend spending a little time researching on the web about this breed before you buy – Learn about the Asian Leopard Cat, Egyptian Mau and what they have to do with that of Bengal, so the F1, F2, F3, F4, SBT half and the nature of hybridity (see reference below baseline). As part of his research shows some cats visit or breeders and see and touch the cats – before committing. Finally, note that options are not competing race, the most obvious is the Ocicat and Egyptian Mau – these are wonderful cats.
