How much of Bengal Cats? How about a Toyger?
My wife and I are interested in acquiring either a flare or Toyger. Several websites with information about the list, but none of them a price list or a ballpark figure. What is the average cost for someone looking for a of these cats as pets, not for reproduction?
Bengal average cost is U.S. $ 500 and $ 1000 (varies by country and also with the relative quality of the cat in question). Is much more difficult to find breeders and prices for Toyger (For example, the site lists no players TICA) however it is a breeder’s site (see below). They are more variable in the price range (500 U.S. dollars – U.S. $ 1500). The Toyger is supposed to be raised to live in an apartment, so this might be something to consider – Bengals enjoy running outdoors (I have 2 Bengals) – but one wonders if they really prefer Toygers this too 
. Personally, I think it comes down to the points to lines / rosettes! A good Bengal is like a small leopard, while a good Toyger looks like a little tiger – what do you want? Best wishes for what you want (I would be interested to see photos)
